1. Who we are

CS2STATISTICS.COM is operated by CENTERMAG SRL, Str. Scarlatescu 27-29, Et. P, Cam. 3, Sector 1, Bucharest, 011158, Romania, company registration code 54935387. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact: [email protected].

2. Data we collect

Account data: your SteamID, your public Steam name and avatar, the backup email address you give us, the date you registered, your last sign-in, and the date and version of the terms you accepted.

Gameplay data: statistics sent by Counter-Strike 2 servers connected to the platform, such as SteamID, in-game name, kills, deaths, matches, playtime and bans issued on those servers.

Technical data: IP address and basic request information kept in server logs for security and troubleshooting.

Analytics data, only if you accept analytics cookies: pages visited, approximate location, device and browser, collected through Google Analytics.

3. Why we use it

We use account data to create and run your account and to contact you about it, on the basis of our agreement with you.

We use gameplay data to build public statistics, rankings and ban lists, on the basis of our legitimate interest and that of server owners in running fair, transparent community servers.

We use technical data to keep the platform secure, on the basis of our legitimate interest.

We use analytics data to understand and improve how the site is used, only on the basis of your consent.

4. Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for the platform to work: one that keeps you signed in and short-lived ones used during sign-in. These do not need your consent.

With your consent, we also use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to measure how the site is used. Analytics is switched off until you accept it in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time from Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

We do not use advertising cookies.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the providers that help us run the platform: our hosting provider, Cloudflare for content delivery and protection, Valve (Steam) for signing in and for reading your public Steam profile, and Google (Google Analytics), only if you accepted analytics cookies.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, the transfer is covered by safeguards recognised under the GDPR, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.

Statistics, rankings and ban lists are public and can be seen by anyone.

6. How long we keep it

We keep account data for as long as your account exists. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account data. Public gameplay statistics may be kept in anonymised or aggregated form. Server logs are kept for a limited period.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, receive a copy of it, and withdraw a consent you have given. To use these rights, contact us at [email protected].

You also have the right to complain to the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP (www.dataprotection.ro).

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. For significant changes we will ask you to review the new version.
