How to install or update
- 1Install CounterStrikeSharp 1.0.375 or newer on your server first. The plugin cannot run without it.
- 2Log in, open Your servers in your profile and press Download next to your server. You get a .zip archive made for that server only.
- 3The archive holds two files: the plugin itself (CS2Statistics.dll) and its settings file (CS2Statistics.json), which contains the secret key of your server.
- 4Unpack the archive into the game/csgo folder of your server and accept replacing the existing files. Both files land in the right place by themselves, under addons/counterstrikesharp.
- 5Restart the server or change the map, so the plugin is loaded.
- 6Within a minute your server shows as verified and the plugin version appears in your profile. To update later, repeat the same steps.
Where each file must be
The plugin
game/csgo/addons/counterstrikesharp/plugins/CS2Statistics/
This folder must contain the file CS2Statistics.dll.
The settings file with your key
game/csgo/addons/counterstrikesharp/configs/plugins/CS2Statistics/
This folder must contain the file CS2Statistics.json.
Unpacking the archive into game/csgo creates these folders for you. If you copy the files by hand, create a folder named CS2Statistics in each of the two places when it is missing, written exactly like this, with the same capital letters. In many hosting panels the path starts with home/container, followed by game/csgo.
Keep the settings file to yourself. Whoever has the key inside it can send data in the name of your server. If you lose it or it leaks, download the archive again.
